Joyce Hsu
Joyce Hsu is a renowned playwright based in Silicon Valley, San Francisco. After graduating from National Taiwan University with a degree in Chemistry, she pursued graduate studies at Caltech and spent ten years conducting biochemical research at UC Berkeley and Stanford University.
Her passion for art and theater led her to create over ten plays. She has also served on the boards of the San Jose Repertory Theatre and the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.
In 1996, she realized her dream of stage playwriting and production, collaborating with performing arts groups "Bridge & Gate" and "Huayi Performing Group." Nine of her plays premiered in the Bay Area, and four were selected by professional theater groups in Shanghai. Her historical play Hsi-Shih & Fu-Chai was adapted into a musical and featured in the 2001 Shanghai International Arts Festival.
In April this year, A Date of A Lifetime was adapted into a musical by Stan Lai's performance team and premiered in Shanghai.

Professor of Acting at Beijing Film Academy
After graduating from the Acting Department of Beijing Film Academy, he remained there to teach, dedicating 35 years to film education. He has held various roles, including Member of the Academy Affairs Committee and Academic Committee, Vice President of the Chinese Film Actors Association, Jury Member of the Golden Rooster Awards, and Director and Artistic Advisor at the Youth Film Studio, among others.

Death and the Maiden: Winner of the Honorary Award at the 13th Varna International Film Festival (1986), the Special Award at the First Chinese Red Cross Film Festival, and the Special Actor Award at the 8th Golden Rooster Awards.

He has directed over ten stage plays in Silicon Valley, including The Joy Luck Club, My Own Swordsman, and A Basket of Love.
